Phoenix Supper Club & Sushi
June 14th, 2008 by EvaI would like to preface this by saying that all names dropped by Alex are random and false. He is not involved officially with any company he mentions in fact he has been fired by many for conducting shady business and sued by at least one old employer.
Also I hope people will find this info when Googling the name of the restaurant so they know it is fake.
In 2007 Alex worked with a few people to open a Mikasa restaurant. He said his dad owned the chain and gave him his own restaurant in Boucherville. The owner of Mikasa is NOT Alex’s dad and quickly took action to block Alex (who was shopping for cars, homes and supplies in Mikasa’s name.) Alex used the name of Mikasa and Provigo extensively in 2007 in joint and separate scams. We have talked to the owner of Mikasa to gather some info and attempted to contact people from Provigo’s Loss Prevention Department. We want to understand how Alex used Mikasa’s name to scam Provigo and Provigo’s name to scam Mikasa.

Recently we re-iterated that Alex is not the Regional Director for Provigo, Maxi or Loblaws. We are still investigating to understand how he was able to access the home office of Provigo as well as use credit cards to conduct scams under the Provigo banner. He may have pulled his old supermarket trick which is to get a any low-level job, dress fancy and tell employees and customers he is the owner or manager of a store. As far as we know Sobey’s put Alex on their no hire list. Alex also pretended to be the Regional Financial Controller for Métro-Richelieu in late 2006 after a quick gig in a Metro supermarket on Du Parc. This job hides another cell of young victims we would like to catch up with.
Yoshi and I are regular people with normal occupations and it takes us quite a while to put all these pieces together but investigating the not illegal confusion and economic Ill will Alex creates helps us uncover actions that are provable and actionable criminally. Then we have to convince people to file a complaint which is a bit harder. We encounter those who want Alex out of their lives and those who want Alex in Jail. When you put your head in the sand when Alex is concerned he will know it and continue to use your name to scam people. Even if he is not in front of you he is scheming ways to hurt you or your reputation and this can last months or years. Even if the police will not listen to you you should chronicle your Alex nightmare with dates and events. People who block Alex and/or speak out are our heroes.
We think Alex deserves his own specialized crime task force with the Sureté du Québec because every cities operate independently. Former employers lament not being able to find anything odd about Alex before hiring him. He mixes up his name to make it hard to follow up on him and it gives him access to jobs with employees to befriend or impersonate, documents or money to steal. Why are people still hiring Alex?!
While Alex’s attempt to “own” Mikasa failed he still got to sully their name in the process. This is his standard revenge against a mark that will not let themselves be scammed.
Then he had business cards made with the name of a fake club Phoenix Supper Club & Sushi situated at 1166 Rue Volta, Boucherville. The number on the card seems to be the number of his secret phone however he does give away a slightly modified version of this number to various people.
For your information the restaurant at 1166 Voltage is East Side Mario’s (same zip code). The owner is not Alex’s dad. Alex’s plans to open a club is 100% false. We do not know the economical gain Alex hopes to acquire from this scam so far it is only used a cruel strategy to get people to leave their job.
(UPDATE: There is at least one complaint on file where Alex has gotten prospective employees to fork over money for their work uniform.)
Yesterday we talked to yet another person who was promised a job at 1166 rue Volta. Recently, Alex pretended to own Tonic Night Club and spread rumors of opening a club in Boucherville. The employees of East Side Mario’s became stressed over an impending closure of their restaurant. Again, Alex targeted two groups of people who did not know each other and created an ambiance of confusion and hostility between them. He then removed himself from the picture and let his victims try to figure out who threw all that shit in the fan and why. His business appropriation scheme cause loss of time, income, ill will and sullies the name of good companies who have absolutely nothing to do with Alex.
Pictured right is our restaurant project for Alex. Simple operation, fabulous views, low operation costs.
